Why We Built
Defaris

Defaris — Rehnuma was born from a deeply personal pain. Our founder, Amna Nisar, experienced firsthand the helplessness of being oceans away when her father needed urgent medical care in Lahore.

The lack of a trusted system to coordinate care from abroad was a gap too painful to ignore. Today, Defaris fills that gap for thousands of families across UK, USA, Canada, UAE and beyond.

The name "Rehnuma" — a beautiful Urdu word meaning guide, companion and protector — captures exactly what we are for your family in Pakistan.

When I started Defaris, I had one simple goal: no family should ever feel what I felt during my father's illness — the fear, helplessness, and guilt of not being there.

Building this platform has been the most meaningful work of my life. Every thank-you message from an overseas Pakistani who finally feels at peace — that's why we do this.

Our Liaison Officers don't just do their jobs — they build genuine relationships with your parents. Because at the heart of Defaris is one belief: every parent deserves to feel cared for.
